It was in the fall of 2016 that Whiffer Sniffers first hit my radar – scented, collectible backpack clips in fun character shapes. Taking their design cues from the scratch-n-sniff craze of the 1980s (they even released some stickers to go along with that), Whiffer Sniffers are still going strong and their fanbase is growing. With their Series 5 in stores now for holiday 2017, families can be on the hunt for a fresh assortment of awesome characters that make perfect stocking stuffers!
The Rock Daughters™ have been wearing Whiffer Sniffers on their backpacks for over a year now, and they’ve gotten to be pretty worn. That said, I have a few new ones that I picked up while at Sweet Suite in New York over the summer, and I set them aside until now. While we’re now in what I’d call “Peppermint Mocha Season,” my love of Pumpkin Spice is legendary, and for that reason I snagged Hal O. Ween for myself. He’s a Pumpkin Spice Donut, and he smells absolutely heavenly. For something more seasonally-appropriate, Ed Nogg brings the holiday cheer.
