Race fans gearing up for NASCAR All-Star Race weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 18 can anticipate a sizzling spectacle as Wright Brand takes the helm as the Official Entitlement Sponsor of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Wright Brand 250.
Brock White, Vice President of Tyson Foods, expressed excitement, stating, “As the No. 1 thick-cut bacon brand, we take pride in helping to energize and bring families together across America. We look forward to lending a hand in powering some of the best racing talent as they compete on this iconic track.”
Part of the Tyson Foods portfolio, Wright Brand, renowned for its thick-cut bacon, extends a longstanding relationship with the historic oval. Tyson Foods, deeply embedded in the Wilkes County community, employs nearly 2,200 team members locally and over 1,400 in nearby Monroe, North Carolina.
Last year, Tyson’s investment of $300 million in Danville, Virginia, created nearly 400 jobs.
The return of the iconic Tyson Brand leaderboard, reminiscent of its storied NASCAR past, received acclaim last year and will grace the Speedway once more. Fans eager to witness motorsports history can secure three-day ticket packages for the action-packed weekend, including access to practice sessions, the NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge, Wright Brand 250, All-Star Heat Races, NASCAR All-Star Open, NASCAR All-Star Race, and concerts featuring platinum-selling country music stars Warren Zeiders and Neal McCoy.
The Tyson Brand sponsored the 2023 Tyson 250 at North Wilkesboro, won by Kyle Larson who led 138 of 252 laps on his way to a weekend sweep of the first NASCAR races in nearly 27 years at North Wilkesboro. Check out some highlights below!
