Smucker's Holiday TraditionsLast month, my friends from The J.M Smucker Company flew me to their headquarters in Orrville, Ohio for their Holiday Traditions Blogger Event. In the weeks ahead, I will be sharing with you some Holiday Tips that I learned while I was there – a collection of helpful information, recipes, and more that will help you Rock Your Holidays, while creating some memorable meals…

With Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, the Holiday Baking Season is in full-swing, and for those of you that wind up in a pie predicament – the Crisco Pie Hotline is back for it’s eighth year of helping you become a pie rockstar.

Live pie experts can be reached Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET by calling 1-877-FOR-PIE-TIPS (877-367-7438). During peak baking season, the live pie experts are on-call during extended hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET from November 18 – 27, and 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET from December 16 – 23.

And, from the Crisco Test Kitchen comes a selection of brand-new recipes for 2013. Looking for something tasty and new? Give these a try…

  • walnutpieCaramel Apple Walnut Pie (pictured right) – Leftover apples from the annual trip to the orchard? Update the traditional apple pie recipe with a new twist that incorporates the delicious flavors of fall.
