As revealed earlier today, Toys “R” Us has announced a massive, Global initiative surrounding the September 4 #ForceFriday launch of toys from STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. Part of that initiative includes “Destination: Star Wars – The Experience” – a special exhibition running Wednesday, August 26 – Monday, September 7 at the flagship Times Square Toys “R” Us in New York City. It will feature a special exhibition featuring prototypes, originals and early editions of some of the best-known STAR WARS toys in the world, curated by Rancho Obi-Wan, Inc., a non-profit museum that houses the Guinness World Record-certified largest collection of STAR WARS memorabilia. Presented prominently throughout the store, “Destination: Star Wars – The Experience,” will showcase dozens of notable collectibles based on all six feature films from the STAR WARS Saga. The folks at TRU hit THE ROCK FATHER Magazine with photos and an extensive list of the products that will be featured. Check out the full list below, then head over to my Facebook Page for a full photo gallery of this Vintage STAR WARS Goodness!
