The Toy Book Deputy Editor James Zahn — aka The Rock Father, founder of this publication — was recently invited to serve as the moderator for a panel presented by Future Today at the 2022 Cynopsis OTT Virtual Conference.

On March 8, 2022, Zahn was welcomed to the virtual stage by Cynopsis Media Editorial Director Lynn Leahey to introduce and moderate the panel: In the Living Room, Kids are the Chief Entertainment Officers: What does this mean for brands? 

The lively panel focused on the shifting landscape of OTT media and how brands connect with families as kids take the helm in influencing purchasing decisions for the entire household, from toilet paper to toys.

Future Today co-founder Vikrant Mathur and Head of Sales & Marketing Jennifer D’Alessandro were joined by ChizComm Beacon Media Global CMO & General Manager Kathleen Campisano, and The Insights Family’s Research & Trends Director Sarah Riding to share insight and expertise.

More than 1,000 media executives tuned in live for the panel, which has been archived and viewed on Vimeo.
