It was almost exactly one year ago that LUCKY DIAZ AND THE FAMILY JAM BAND released their critically-acclaimed album, A POTLUCK, which I reviewed here on The Rock Father. Now, kindie rockers Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis have prepped their first Spanish-language album, ¡Fantastico! just in-time for Cinco de Mayo. ¡Fantastico! (out April 30) is their Greatest Hits in Spanish. Check out the tracklisting below…

1. La Vibora
2. Gato Astronauto
3. Ozo Azul
4. A Bailar
5. Tres Ratones
6. Los Numeros
7. La Rata Vieja
8. ¿Que Dices?

Normally, my Spanish-language music of choice comes from BRUJERIA, but they’re not exactly kid-friendly. Come to think about it, I have a Brujeria “El Patron” t-shirt (featuring the face of Pablo Escobar) tucked into my closet somewhere. Should I rock that one day while picking up the little one from preschool?

SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Kids Place Live (Channel 78) will air a special one-hour “Rumpus Room” concert with Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band four times during May 3-5 in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. For more, check out their official site.
