The folks over at Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star are celebrating a milestone today, with the release of their 100th album of “lullabies for all ages.” After starting in 2009, their centennial release is LULLABY VERSIONS OF THE BLACK KEYS, a 12-song collection of hits reworked for the nursery.
“Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star was started with the idea to do lullabies in a very musical way. That is how it would set this line apart from the others in the genre. High fidelity fans enjoy the music as much as babies do. You can’t translate music like Rush or Dream Theater like TTLRS has without taking these very serious musically. We get so many notes that fans are using these for yoga, massage or general relaxation; it’s really a compliment and testament to the quality of these recordings.
On choosing The Black Keys as the 100th release, aside from being huge fans of the band, they resemble a success story that didn’t happen overnight. Talent and lots of hard work got them to this point. They are a great example to follow for anyone and everyone at TTLRS respects that.”
