THE ROCK FATHER and his Circle K Mountain Dew Polar Pop Cup

It’s been nearly a year since I started The xB Mission – an idea that I could take what had been becoming an “old” car and start to reverse the process as its age begins inching toward “classic.” I special-ordered this car new, and I took delivery in June of 2004. 14 years and 160,000+ miles later, my Scion xB and I have a special relationship… like Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, Michael Knight and K.I.T.T., The Lone Ranger and Silver. This ride and I have been through a lot together, and this year there will be more. What you can’t see in the picture above is that the whole family is there. My wife is snapping the photo, while our daughters are behind tinted glass in the back seat. While I’ve driven many vehicles over the years, it was my wife who once said “you’re synonymous with that car,” and in many ways that was the deciding factor to keep it rolling. Another thing that I’m known for? My beverage of choice: Mountain Dew Voltage. I’ve enjoyed thousands of them, and one of my favorites exclusive at Circle K on fountain is – Voltage Polar Pop® cup!

You’ve no doubt heard the phrase “Do the Dew!” over the years, and here that’s become something of a mantra. Now, as The Rock Daughters are getting older, they’re finding their way into more extreme sports, like karate and skateboarding. In fact, Santa brought Addie her first skateboard this past Christmas, and soon we’ll be hitting the local skateparks to see what she can pull off when she first starts grinding the rails. It’s an interest that’s been brewing for a while, but it really seemed like a lightbulb went off for her after discovering The Dew Tour on television last summer.

Mountain Dew Inner Circle

This year’s Dew Tour is happening in Long Beach, California (June 28-July 1), and it’s a FREE event that’s open to the public and brings together some of the world’s best skateboarders, snowboarders, skiers, artists, brands, and fans in a celebration of creativity and style for all ages. You can join the Inner Circle only on the Circle K App to grab VIP Tickets and more!

While a road trip to Cali isn’t in the cards this year, I know that no matter where our adventures take us, I can take it easy when I stop at Circle K for my Mountain Dew Voltage Polar Pop®, my drink will stay colder longer even as things are heating up outside!
