MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE may be hibernating for now (I seem to think they’ll rise once more somewhere down the line), but that doesn’t mean that the spirit isn’t alive in other places. For new parents wishing to introduce the music of Gerard Way and the gang to those future rockers while they’re still in the crib, the crew over at Roma Music Group have assembled the perfect collection to do just that. Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star – LULLABY VERSIONS OF MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, will hit digital retailers on May 12, presenting nursery-friendly versions of a dozen MCR hits and fan favorites. THE ROCK FATHER has your first-listen to the lullaby version of “Welcome to the Black Parade,” the album opener, and a track available right now as an instant download with iTunes pre-orders of the album. Check it out below.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE officially announced their break-up in March of 2013, while MAY DEATH NEVER STOP YOU: THE GREATEST HITS 2001-2013 was released just last month through Reprise. I still remember seeing the band on the Taste of Chaos Tour back in 2005 as if it were yesterday. Time flies in rock and roll.

TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE ROCK STAR has over 150 lullaby collections on the market, an impressive and ever-expanding library based on the works of some of the biggest names in music. Recent collections have been based on 311, DISTURBED and the movie, FROZEN. Check out their site for more – it’s where all the cool kids start.
