One of the most popular articles here on The Rock Father last month was about the new line of BATMAN CLASSICS 1966 Action Figures from Mattel. While I mentioned a forthcoming wave set to feature the Caesar Romero version of THE JOKER and the Julie Newmar version of CATWOMAN, details were scarce. Now, things are a little bit clearer.

In addition to all the goodies available for pre-order from my friends at Entertainment Earth already, now comes the BATMAN CLASSICS 1966 Wave 2 Figure Case. Packed inside is the following (subject to change):

MTY9633Blg6 individually packaged 6-inch action figures:
1x Batman (ADAM WEST)
1x Riddler (FRANK GORSHIN)
1x Penguin (BURGESS MEREDITH)
2x Joker (CAESAR ROMERO)
1x Surf’s Up Batman

Pre-Order here.

Additionally, the BATMAN CLASSICS 1966 Wave 3 Revision 1 Case is up for pre-order:

6 individually packaged 6-inch action figures (subject to change):
3x Batman
1x The Penguin
1x The Joker
1x Catwoman (JULIE NEWMAR)

Pre-Order here.

As mentioned previously, the only way to get Robin (BURT WARD) is through a special, wall-climbing two-pack that’s expected to ship in July. For those wishing to order single figures (not full cases), hit the following links while supplies last: Batman, Catwoman, The Penguin, The Joker, The Riddler, Surf’s Up Batman.

Finally, for those attending the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con (I never go, despite being hounded to every year), there will be an SDCC ’13 Exclusive Batusi Batman Figure, in a box featuring SHAG artwork. Look for those to fetch obscene prices on eBay this summer…
