On TODD GLASS TALKS ABOUT STUFF (out this Tuesday on New Wave Dynamics), Todd Glass does indeed, talk about stuff. The 12-track collection of observational comedy is right on the mark – and Glass’ spends it ripping into daily stupidity in a good way. From people who love to tell you who you look like (I get that ALL THE TIME) to the idiots that show up to a dinner party with unprepared food, it feels as if you’re riding with Glass in a car while discussing the assholes around you.
Where he really drives it home is with the closing number, “People Say They Don’t Watch TV.” I’ve long taken issue with those folks, especially the ones who say they don’t watch TV that are actually on TV (run across that a few times), and Glass nails it. “Oh my God! You don’t watch TV? You’re better than everybody!… I’m gonna give my children to you because YOU could raise them better!” Yeah, right. Just like Glass, I watch TV, too.
