It’s not a new Christmas song, but since Mista Cookie Jar just reposted his 2011 “Robot for Christmas” video on Facebook, I have to post it here on The Rock Father. It’s just weird enough that I can’t resist, and if you dig the kind of 1980’s-analog-robo-funk that I often find myself enjoying, then you’ll probably savor this in an “all your base are belong to us” kind of way. It’s a Santastic song with nods to STAR WARS, SHORT CIRCUIT, ROBOCOP, TRANSFORMERS, 2001, and more. Actually, if the phrase “Max & Jinx, friends forever” means anything to you… just check it.
