Instead of rushing through fall in anticipation of the next holiday, Werther’s Original is celebrating the power of slowing down this season with Werther’s O’Clock, a new ritual designed to help people savor the small things and enjoy the present moment.
Studies show energy dips in the afternoon, which is why Werther’s invites candy lovers to pause with a warm beverage and a sweet treat every day at 3 p.m. EST. The centerpiece of the ritual is the Sweet Treat Mug — an insulated mug with a keychain “sidecar” for storing at least one Werther’s Original Caramel.
Inspired by fall flavors including Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple, Maple Crème, and Cinnamon Crème, the mug makes it simple to pair a comforting sip with a caramel treat.
“Werther’s Original has been part of our caramel lovers’ sweetest moments for generations,” said Kelly Cook, president at Storck USA. “This fall, we are excited to offer a sense of comfort and tradition in a new way, giving consumers an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the season with a chance at winning a Werther’s Sweet Treat Mug.”
From October 6 through October 10, Werther’s will host an exclusive giveaway. Fans can enter during “Werther’s O’Clock” (3–4 p.m. EST / 2–3 p.m. CST) daily for a chance to win one of 100 limited-edition Sweet Treat Mugs.
