ALANIS MORISSETTE is heading back to the stage with Butterfly with a Machete, bringing the next chapter of her ambitious live production to Los Angeles this November.
Following a sold-out run in Las Vegas last year, the multimedia stage show lands at YouTube Theater for four performances on Nov. 5, 6, 10, and 11. Produced, performed, and co-written by MORISSETTE, the project blends live music, storytelling, and personal reflection into an intimate look at the artist’s journey from Ottawa to international stardom.
Built around MORISSETTE’s catalog, Butterfly with a Machete explores themes that have long fueled her songwriting, including fame, trauma, healing, self-discovery, and resilience. The production combines theatrical elements with live performance, creating an experience that reaches beyond a traditional concert format.
