Alfa Romeo is turning up the volume on its compact SUV game with the reveal of the 2026 Tonale — a refreshed ride that blends Italian design, track-born attitude, and modern tech.
Leading the charge is a bold new look. The updated front end draws from the legendary 33 Stradale, with a concave scudetto grille and wider stance that gives the Tonale a muscular edge. Three new paint options — Rosso Brera, Verde Monza, and Giallo Ocra — highlight every curve, while new 20-inch wheels and black-and-white Alfa badging seal the deal.
Inside, it’s all about refinement. Red leather seating, Alcantara trim, and contrasting stitching add a driver-focused vibe across all trims. The lineup now includes Sprint, Veloce, and the new Sport Speciale — the latter featuring silver accents, gloss-black Brembo calipers, and a black-and-pearl interior that hits just right.
Performance hasn’t been left behind. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivers 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque through a nine-speed automatic and Q4 all-wheel drive. With aluminum paddles, Brembo brakes, and Alfa’s signature DNA selector, the Tonale still knows how to dance through corners.
The 2026 Tonale is expected to arrive in North American showrooms by the end of next year, and pricing and more details will follow.
