Canon USA is expanding its EOS/PowerShot V Series with the launch of the PowerShot V1 and EOS R50 V, two cameras designed for video creators, vloggers, live streamers, and filmmakers.
The PowerShot V1 redefines point-and-shoot with a new grip design, ultra-wide zoom lens (17-52mm for video, 16-50mm for stills), and a 22.3MP sensor. It also features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II for enhanced autofocus, a built-in cooling fan for longer recordings, and a seamless still-to-video switch.
The EOS R50 V, built for cinematic storytelling, offers 4K crop at 60fps, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and Canon Log 3 for professional-grade color. It also introduces four livestreaming methods, a dedicated movie button, and a new RF-S14-30mm power zoom lens.
Both models arrive in April, with the PowerShot V1 priced at $899.99 and the EOS R50 V priced at $649.99 (body only) and $849.99 with the RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens.
