Epiphone is revving up its Inspired by Gibson Collection for 2026, rolling out refreshed builds designed to deliver a classic feel with modern performance upgrades for players at every level.
The updated lineup spans some of the most iconic shapes in guitar history, including the Explorer 80s EMG, Firebird, Flying V 70s, Les Paul Special Double Cut, Les Paul Junior, SG Special P-90, Les Paul Standard 50s and 60s, and the SG Standard. Upgrades across the range include rosewood or ebony fretboards, improved hardware and electronics, and refined body contours built to handle today’s stage and studio demands.
Players also get a broader finish palette, including Classic White, Vintage Sunburst, Goldtop, Maui Blue, TV Yellow, Bourbon Burst, and Ocean Water, balancing heritage looks with modern personality.
“Epiphone has always been about opening doors,” says Lewis McKinney III, Brand Manager of Epiphone. “Inspired by Gibson brings real heritage into the hands of players who want more than the look — they want a guitar they can count on, in any situation, every time they plug in. This all-new collection stays true to that mission: guitars that feel right, sound right, and show up, always.”
Epiphone is celebrating the launch alongside Bay Area punks Spiritual Cramp, whose upcoming tour will showcase the refreshed lineup live, putting the new builds straight into the hands of working musicians.

Now… that white Explorer 80s EMG (sold out as of this writing) is really calling my name … an urge to channel Metallica’s James Hetfield. Yeah yeah!
