Family Music Artists Unite for a “Sandy” Cause: Neighbor to Neighbor Project

Laurie McIntosh, aka Story Laurie has been busy this past month producing a new compilation dedicated to raising funds for Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery Efforts. Slated for release on December 22 via Bandcamp (with iTunes to follow), NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR: FAMILY MUSIC FOR SANDY RELIEF will feature tracks from Pete Seeger and The Rivertown Kids with Dar Williams & David Bernz; Dan Zanes; Tom Chapin; Guy Davis; Gustafer Yellowgold; Dog on Fleas; Uncle Rock; Story Laurie; Kim & Reggie Harris; Key Wilde & Mr. Clarke; Grenadilla; Ratboy, Jr.; Dan Einbender; Professor Louie & The Crowmatix; Magpie; and The Saints of Swing.

Additionally, a benefit concert dubbed “A Sandy Cause” will be held this Saturday, December 22 at the Bearsville Theater (291 Tinker St., Woodstock, NY – (845) 679-4406) featuring Uncle Rock; Story Laurie & Ira McIntosh; Grenadilla; Ratboy Jr.;  and Special Guests. There will be Yuletide Sing-Alongs, Face Painting, Holiday Snacks ‘n’ Crafts, and more. $10 per person; $25 per family.
