It’s the Fourth of July weekend in the U.S., and General Motors is marking the occasion with a WTF moment.

GM is celebrating what it’s calling “The Next American Revolution” by unleashing a new video featuring its forthcoming GMC HUMMER EV Pickup taking off like a rocket using its proprietary “Watts to Freedom” — yes, WTF — Mode. It’s a bit like Tesla’s Ludicrous Mode from a few years back.

The GMC HUMMER EV — “the world’s first all-electric supertruck” — will be assembled in Detroit, Michigan, of domestic and foreign content. Full details and specs can be found at GMC.com.
