Stand-Up Month finishes strong when David Spade returns to Comedy Central with the world premiere of his new one-hour stand-up special, “David Spade: My Fake Problems,” debuting on Sunday, May 4 at 10:00 p.m. For fans that can’t wait to catch Spade’s new material, the special is available now, one week ahead of the on-air premiere, on CC: Stand-Up Direct.
In his first hour-long stand-up special in over ten years, Spade goes back to his roots to remind audiences why Rolling Stone magazine named him a Hot Stand-Up Comedian so early in his career. In front of a live audience at the famed Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, he covers many exotic topics with his trademark snarky delivery, including doing gymnastics to the tune of “Macho Man” and the time Chris Farley bought him 10 lap dances in a row.
On May 6 the extended and uncensored edition of “David Spade: My Fake Problems” will be available on Amazon Instant Video, iTunes, Xbox Video, Sony Entertainment Network, and Vudu. The digital album will also be available on May 6 at major retailers including iTunes and Amazon MP3.

Nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 and an American Comedy Award in 1999 for his work on “Just Shoot Me,” he was recently seen on the seventh and final season of the CBS comedy “Rules of Engagement.”
