It’s August 1, and as promised, director J.J. Abrams is back at the helm as production has begun on the final chapter of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Star Wars: Episode IX started lensing today at Pinewood Studios in London, and the set was a familiar one. In the first behind-the-scenes photo shared on Twitter, Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), Finn (John Boyega) and possibly Rey (Daisy Ridley) were seen seated in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
Additionally, a new episode of The Star Wars Show is out, and in it Dave Filoni sits down to talk about the rebirth of The Clone Wars, the journey of Ahsoka Tano and working with George Lucas. Plus, there’s some Weequay action! Check it out below…
