The U.S. Postal Service just dropped a high-impact tribute to America’s military might, unveiling a trio of new Forever stamps honoring the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.
Revealed May 16 at a ceremony in D.C.’s Freedom Plaza, the stamps mark the moment when the U.S. military was born in 1775, when the fight for independence demanded more than words. Each design spotlights the official insignia of its branch against a stark white backdrop, clean and commanding.
“These stamps serve as a powerful reminder of the enduring legacy and unwavering dedication of the women and men who have built and sustained the United States Army, Navy and Marine Corps for the past 250 years,” said Jeffery Adams, USPS corporate communications vice president. “As we commemorate this significant milestone, we honor their courage, their commitment and their vital role in safeguarding the freedoms we hold dear.”
Adams led the ceremony alongside top brass: Lt. Gen. Gregory Brady (Army), Vice Adm. Mike Boyle (Navy), and Lt. Gen. Paul Rock Jr. (Marines).
All three branches were forged in the crucible of revolution, built to secure freedom and evolved to protect it for generations. The Continental Army, Navy, and Marines set the blueprint for the military giants we know today.
Available in panes of 20, the stamps carry Forever status — fitting for the legacy they honor. The campaign is live now with #ArmedForces250Stamps.
