Turtle Wax Wants to Put Your Face on a Car — And That’s Just the Start

Published:

Turtle Wax is getting weird, and we’re here for it.

The iconic car care brand just dropped You Are How You Car, a full-throttle global campaign that hits harder than a pressure washer on a grime-caked grille. The message? How you treat your car says a whole lot about you. And now, they’re giving fans the chance to prove it… by becoming the car.

As part of the U.S. launch, Turtle Wax is inviting folks to enter the You Are How You Car Sweepstakes by submitting a creative take on their “car-self”— a visual mashup of what they’d look like as a vehicle. Pencil sketch, digital art, action figure, macaroni masterpiece— go nuts.

Ten bold creators will win a custom Turtle Wax Car Bobblehead featuring their own face fused onto a car body. It’s absurd, it’s awesome, and it’s a hilarious tribute to the pride people take in their rides.

“For nearly 80 years, Turtle Wax has helped people bring out the best in their cars — and in the process, brought out something deeper about the person behind the wheel: pride, confidence and a little swagger,” says Daren Herbert, Chief Marketing Officer at Turtle Wax. “This campaign is for the ones who care — who show up with intention and a microfiber cloth at the ready — and for anyone who just needs a little motivation to start. Because no matter what you drive — from a decade-old used car to your dream car — it’s about taking pride in how you show up. There’s power in pulling up in something that should ultimately be a reflection of you. That’s the magic of Turtle Wax — small transformations that leave a lasting impact.”

From CG car-face commercials to a campaign that blurs man and machine, Turtle Wax isn’t just polishing hoods — it’s redefining car culture with a wink and a smirk.
