Uncle Kracker is getting ready for summer by prepping his first new single since the start of the pandemic.

On June 9, the genre-hopping artist will release the nostalgic “Sweet 16” to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms.

“‘Sweet 16’ is all American,” Uncle Kracker says. “It’s a song for anybody lucky enough to make it outta’ their teens, 20s, and 30s — ‘Sweet 16’ is a recap. It’s hands down the most relevant song I’ve ever done.”

Uncle Kracker will perform at this year’s CMA Fest on Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9. He’ll then head out on the road for some headline dates before hopping on the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour with ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
