Formula 1 continues bringing new fans into the world of motorsports and next summer, the action is coming to the big screen in Apple Original Films’ F1.
In the film from director/producer Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), Brad Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris as his rookie teammate, Joshua Pearce at APXGP, a fictional race team at the center of the action.
While production on the film — created in collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community — continues at real Grand Prix weekends this year, we don’t have to wait for a first look as Warner Bros. Pictures just dropped the hammer on the first official teaser. Check it out!
The F1 cast also includes Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award nominee Tobias Menzies, Emmy Award nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute the film in theaters and IMAX worldwide. F1 hits screens in the U.S. on June 27, 2025.
