This past May, Evan Curran, a children’s singer-songwriter and kindergarten teacher from Western Massachusetts, released SHIPROCK AND ANCHORDOG, a “rock opera” about two buddies that happen to be dogs. The 21-track adventure in music and storytelling follows the dogs as they leave their desert home in search of a quality food supply, learning valuable lessons along the way.  Now, the first music video from the album has arrived with the release of “Blueberries.”

Shiprock and Anchordog is a continuing tale that has been explored in several mediums, including a 2011 musical theater production. For the album release, area children provided the voices for the stories and skits that appear alongside the original songs.

The album is available on iTunes now, or you can stream/purchase at
